No one wants to eat yesterday's buckwheat! What to cook with leftover porridge

Buckwheat porridge tastes good hot after cooking. Then, even if reheated, the product will no longer be as appetizing. But the cereal can be used to make a very satisfying independent dish.

The idea of making buckwheat pancakes from yesterday's buckwheat was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yuliia Senych (yuliia.senych). The dishes can be served with fresh vegetables or simply eaten with bread.

Ingredients:

  • buckwheat - 300 g
  • minced meat - 400 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • salt/pepper
  • flour for rolling\\breadcrumbs
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. Combine buckwheat with minced meat and mix well.

2. Add the egg and grate the onion on a fine grater.

3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Mix well.

5. Put the minced meat in a pile.

6. Tear off a piece and shape into oblong patties.

7. Dredge each cutlet in flour on all sides and fry in enough oil in a well-heated frying pan.

8. Finally, put the cutlets on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
