No-bake chocolate and milk dessert: freezes in the refrigerator

For this dessert, you don't need to knead the dough or bake it for a long time. It is based on sweet chocolate and delicate curd layers that go well together. The ingredients freeze perfectly in the refrigerator.

The idea of making a no-bake chocolate and milk dessert was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx).

Ingredients for the chocolate layer:

  • milk chocolate (without additives) – 100 g
  • milk – 200 ml
  • gelatin – 10 g

Ingredients for the milk layer:

  • milk – 200 g
  • cottage cheese (low-fat) – 400 g
  • powdered sugar – 70 g (or a substitute)
  • gelatin – 15
  • water for gelatin (120 g of water per 25 g of gelatin)

Method of preparation:

1. Pour 120 g of water into a glass, and add gelatin.

2. Stir and set aside.

3. Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the chocolate, and stirring, bring to a boil so that the chocolate melts and mixes with the milk.

4. Remove from heat, and add a third of the swollen gelatin. Stir and pour into a convenient mold.

5. Let cool and leave in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

6. Put the cottage cheese on a plate, pour in the milk, add the powdered sugar, and pour in the gelatin melted in the microwave.

7. Blend until smooth (be sure to taste the mixture to see if it is sweet enough, add more powder if necessary) and pour over the chocolate layer.

8. Put in the fridge for an hour.
