Food blogger Alex Mil shared on Instagram the best way to cook new potatoes. He simply stewed them in a delicious sour cream sauce, resulting in an incredible dish.

Ingredients:

  • New potatoes - 700 gr
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs
  • Broth cube - 1 pc
  • Black pepper - a few peas

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • Sour cream - 7 tbsp
  • Butter - 20 gr
  • Greens - 20 gr
  • Honey mustard - 15 g
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Ground pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Put the peeled new potatoes in salted water to boil. When it boils, add the broth cube, bay leaf, and pepper. Stir and cook for 10-12 minutes.

2. Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the boiled potatoes until golden on all sides.

3. Prepare the sauce. Mix sour cream with mustard and add herbs, chopped garlic, and ground pepper. Mix everything well.

4. Pour the sauce over the potatoes, stir, simmer for a few minutes over low heat, and serve hot.
