Mushroom soup that can be prepared in 15 minutes: a recipe from a celebrity chef

Mushroom soup is the first dish that is known and loved in many countries around the world. In each country, it is prepared differently. For example, in Ukraine, it is a mushroom soup served in the Carpathians.

But world-renowned chef Jamie Oliver has his own vision of what mushroom soup should look like. He told Mirror how to cook it correctly.

Ingredients

  • Onion - 2 pcs
  • Olive oil
  • Broth cube
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Portobello mushroom - 4 pcs
  • Basmati rice - 100 g
  • Cream - 1 tbsp
  • Truffle oil - 1 tsp
  • Chestnut mushrooms - 8 pcs
  • Ciabatta
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Apple - 1 pc
  • Parsley - a bunch
  • Lemon - 1 pc
  • Hard cheese - 60 gr
  • Walnuts - a handful

Method of preparation

1.Peel the onion and the rest of the ingredients and chop them in a bag. Fry in a frying pan with olive oil.

2. Add the bouillon cube, salt, pepper and thyme. Stew.

3. Remove the stems from the chestnut mushrooms and fry the tops in a frying pan.

4. Add the mushroom stems and portobello to the pan with the fried onions.

5. Add the rice and simmer for 10 minutes.

6. Add a liter of boiling water and cook without closing the lid.

7. Fry the ciabatta in a pan until golden brown.

8. Sprinkle the bread with grated cheese, nuts and garlic and grill until the cheese melts.

9. Grind the soup in a blender to create the desired consistency.

10. Serve with croutons and sprinkle with grated apples and chopped parsley.
