Meat roll with dried fruit for the Easter table: tastier than sausage
Meat rolls are best made from pork, which should be marinated well beforehand. For a bright flavor, it is best to add dried fruits, spices, garlic, and hot pepper.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a very juicy, tasty, baked pork neck with dried fruit and marinade.
Ingredients:
- Ham - 1.5 kg
- Dried fruits - 300 g (delicious with prunes, dried apricots and figs)
- Garlic - 5-7 cloves.
- Spices - 3 tbsp. l
- Mild mustard - 100-140 g
- Salt and pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Soak dried fruits in boiling water and chop finely.
2. For the marinade: mix mustard, salt, pepper, spices and chopped garlic.
3. Cut the pork into an even layer, beat off the meat, brush with half of the marinade, put the chopped dried fruit on top, not all over the piece. Wrap the roll and tie it with a thread and brush the remaining marinade on top.
4. Put the meat seam side down and bake at 160 C for about 3 hours.
Let cool, remove the threads and cut!
