Meat is a versatile product that can be used to make many tasty and satisfying dishes, such as chops, cutlets, and kebabs, as well as added to soups, salads, and cooked with potatoes.
On her YouTube channel, cook Olha Matvii shared a recipe for delicious meat and vegetables that will go with any side dish (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Onions will give the dish an incredible flavor, so you should have a lot of them.
Ingredients:
- Veal - 700-900 g
- Onions - 10 pcs.
- Carrots - 400 g
- Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
- Nutmeg 1/4 tsp.
- Mixture of peppers - 1 tsp.
- Dry garlic - 1 tsp.
- Paprika - 1.5 tsp.
- Basil - 1 tsp.
- Coriander peas - 1 tsp.
- Soy sauce - 4 tbsp.
- Spicy meat marinade - 2 tsp.
- Potato starch - 4 tbsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon zest - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Sauce: pour spices into a bowl, add soy sauce and hot sauce, and mix thoroughly.
2. Grate the zest and add to the sauce, mix well.
3. Cut the meat, pour the sauce, mix, and let it marinate for a while.
4. Cut the onion into half rings.
5. Cut the carrots into half rings and fry in a separate pan.
6. Dredge the meat in starch and fry well.
7. Take a saucepan or deep frying pan, put a layer of onions on the bottom, add a few bay leaves, carrots, and meat on top, and repeat until you run out of ingredients.
8. Cover the dish and cook for another 2 hours on the stove.
The meat will be very soft, tasty, and juicy.
