Marinated mushrooms in a few hours: how to cook
Pickled mushrooms are a snack for all occasions. It is enough to prepare a good flavorful marinade, add some vegetables and herbs, put it all in the fridge, and forget about the mushrooms for a few hours. Ready-made pickled mushrooms can be eaten on their own, simply with bread, or with meat dishes – it will be perfect.
Food blogger Tania Sheremet (tania_sheremet_) shared a recipe for a mushroom marinade with vegetables on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- salt - 2 tbsp.
- champignon mushrooms - 600 g
- allspice - 6-7 pcs
- black peppercorns - 15 pcs
- bay leaves - 3 pcs
- carrots - 1 pc
- parsley - a bunch
- hot pepper - a small piece
- garlic - 2 cloves
- sugar - 1 tsp
- sunflower oil - 3 tbsp
- vinegar - 5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First, pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
2. Then add allspice, black peppercorns, salt, and mushrooms to the water. Cook for 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables: grate the carrots, and chop the parsley, pepper, and garlic.
4. Add chopped vegetables, sugar, oil, and vinegar to the cooked mushrooms. Stir and refrigerate for 4 hours.
