Lush filling pie with green onions and boiled eggs: only 40 minutes to prepare
Homemade pies can be made with different fillings and with different doughs. One of the simplest is a liquid dough based on kefir.
The chef shared a recipe for a homemade pie with green onions, boiled eggs, and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 4 pcs. eggs (raw)
- 250 ml. kefir
- 150 ml. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 320 g of flour
- 1 tsp. of baking powder
For the filling:
- 4-5 eggs
- a bunch of green onions
- 150 g. mozzarella
- 1-2 tbsp. of sour cream
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs with salt, add kefir and oil, and mix. Add flour and baking powder, and whisk until smooth.
2. For the filling: finely chop the onion, dice the eggs, grate the cheese on a coarse grater, and add the sour cream, salt, and pepper.
3. Put the parchment in a split mold, pour half the dough, then put the filling and the dough again.
4. Flatten, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 C for 40 minutes.
It is better to eat the finished cake hot!
