Liver roll: the perfect appetizer from affordable ingredients

It's hard to imagine that liver and other readily available ingredients can be used to make such a delicious and juicy roll.

A food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina_cooking shared what ingredients are needed to make liver roll on Instagram. According to her, even those who hate liver will love this dish.

Ingredients

  • boiled chicken liver - 500 g
  • boiled carrots - 2 pcs
  • green onions, dill and parsley - 50 g
  • hard cheese - 100 gr
  • boiled eggs - 2 pcs

Ingredients for the filling

  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • milk - 100 ml
  • salt - ½ tsp
  • dry garlic - ½ tsp.
  • pepper

Method of preparation

1. Grate carrots and cheese on a coarse grater.

2. Cut the liver into pieces.

3. Chop the greens and cut the eggs into large pieces.

4. Prepare the filling. Mix eggs, pepper, salt, dry garlic and milk in a deep bowl. Stir with a whisk or fork.

5. Add all the ingredients to the egg mixture and mix gently with a spoon.

6. Pour the mass into a parchment-lined mold and smooth the surface with a spoon.

7. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour.

8. Remove from the mold after it has cooled completely.
