Lazy pita tubes: you need five ingredients only
With just five ingredients, you can make a hearty dish for a snack or breakfast. And for the base, you need ordinary pita bread. A filling of basic ingredients is wrapped in it and, as a result, delicious tubes are obtained.
The idea of making hearty pita bread tubes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Khrystyna (food_1333).
Ingredients:
- pita bread – 200 g
- cottage cheese 5% – 300 g
- hard cheese – 160 g
- eggs – 1 pc (white + yolk)
- green onions, dill, spices
Method of preparation:
1. For the filling, combine everything except the yolk.
2. Cut the pita bread into strips (4 pieces).
3. Divide the filling into equal parts, tamp each part a little, and wrap it in pita bread.
4. Put in a baking dish, brush with egg yolk, and bake for 15 minutes at 180° degrees, checking for color.
5. It is better to choose mozzarella or suluguni cheese – they stretch better.
