Lazy Chinese cabbage rolls with bulgur: a simple recipe
Cabbage rolls are a delicious and hearty dish made with rice, minced meat, cabbage, and spices. Very often they are cooked lean without meat lean and even without cabbage.
Food blogger Kateryna shared a recipe for delicious lazy Chinese cabbage rolls with bulgur and beef on Instagram (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- small Chinese cabbage - 1 pc
- minced beef - 800 g
- bulgur - 100 g
- onion - 100 g
- carrots - 100 g
- tomato paste - 50 g
- boiling water - 300 ml
- dry garlic - 1/2 tsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over the cabbage and leave for 3 minutes.
2. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper.
3. Dice the onion, add it to the minced meat together with the bulgur, and mix thoroughly.
4. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and fry until golden brown. Add the tomato paste, boiling water, salt, and pepper, cover, and sauté.
5. Wrap the filling in cabbage leaves, put them in the sauce and cook under the lid for 20-25 minutes.
Serve the finished cabbage rolls with sour cream and fresh vegetables. It will be very tasty and even more hearty.
