Korean instant zucchini: share a recipe for a spicy appetizer

Zucchini is a very budget-friendly and tasty vegetable that can be used to make many original and delicious dishes, from pancakes to unusual salads and pies. Zucchini can also be preserved for the winter, made into spicy salads and caviar.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared a recipe for a delicious appetizer – Korean zucchini – on his website that will surprise you with its taste.

What to cook with zucchini

Ingredients:

  • zucchini – 1 pc
  • carrots – 1 pc
  • white cabbage – 1/4 pc
Homegrown carrots
  • apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • salt – 1 tsp
Spices for dressing
  • sugar – 1 tsp
  • chili pepper – 1/2 pc
  • sunflower oil – 4 tbsp
Sunflower oil
  • ground coriander – 1/2 tsp
  • garlic – 3 cloves

Method of preparation:

1. Wash and peel the zucchini, cut into strips, and place in a bowl.

2. Peel and grate the carrots as you would for Korean carrots, and add them to the zucchini.

3. Finely chop the cabbage, cut the chili pepper into thin slices, add to the vegetables, and mix.

4. Add the chopped garlic and stir again.

5. Pour the oil into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, and ground coriander. Heat the oil and spices for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

6. Pour the prepared dressing into the bowl with the vegetables, stir, and pour in the vinegar, stir again and serve.
