Juicy stuffed peppers with meat and rice: how to prepare a hearty dish for lunch

From ordinary bell peppers you can prepare a full-fledged hearty dinner. To do this, the vegetables need to be stuffed deliciously. Ideal for this will be juicy minced meat, as well as high-quality rice.

The idea of cooking a hearty stuffed pepper is published on the Instagram page of foodblogger Oksana Kostik(oksikostik). Vegetables are stewed in a creamy sauce, so it turns out not greasy.

Ingredients:

  • rice - 200 g
  • minced meat - 400 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • paprika
  • dill greens, salt, pepper

Ingredients for the filling:

  • sour cream
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Peel peppers, remove core.

2. Rinse the rice with hot water.

3. Leave to drain and add to the minced meat.

4. Separate onions and carrots and make a stir-fry.

5. Simmer in oil.

6. Pour into minced meat and rice.

7. Leave a little in the pot where the peppers will be cooked.

8. Season with spices to taste.

9. Fill the peppers not too tightly.

10. Place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, filling side up.

11. Pour a little water into each pepper.

12. Then pour all the peppers in, season with salt.

13. One-half hour before ready, pour in sour cream filling, turn down the heat.
