Instead of fatty cutlets or store-bought sausages, cook juicy meatballs in sauce for lunch. Absolutely any side dish is suitable for them: potatoes, buckwheat, rice. Also, be sure to make a fresh vegetable salad.

Ingredients for meatballs:

  • minced chicken 500 g
  • white bread/loaf - 100 g
  • small egg - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves
  • onion (optional)
  • salt, pepper, spices

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • water - 200 g
  • cream 20% - 200 g
  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1-2 tbsp
  • herbs
  • salt, pepper, spices

Method of cooking meatballs:

1. Pour milk or water over bread/loaf and leave for a while.

2. Squeeze out the liquid.

3. Add egg, grated garlic, onion, salt, pepper, spices, and soaked bread to minced meat.

4. Knead the minced meat thoroughly until smooth.

5. Form small meatballs.

6. If the minced meat sticks to your hands, shape them with wet hands.

7. Dip the meatballs in flour, heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry on all sides until golden brown.

8. Put the fried meatballs in a wide saucepan to stew in the sauce. Or you can cook the meatballs in a frying pan. It's up to you.

9. For the sauce, dissolve flour in water, add cream, soy sauce, salt, and spices.

10. Mix everything thoroughly.

11. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.

12. Bring to a boil and cook until the dish thickens and the meatballs are cooked. It will take about 10 minutes.

13. At the end of cooking, add herbs.
