Stewed chicken with mushrooms in cream is a very good addition to all side dishes, as well as a delicious alternative to gravy. The chicken fillet in this recipe is very soft, the mushrooms are juicy, and the sauce makes them very tender and flavorful.
Food blogger Oksana Bilinska with the nickname oxana_bil shared a recipe for stewed chicken with mushrooms in a creamy sauce on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 500 g
- mushrooms - 300 g
- onion - 1 pc
- cream 20% - 250 ml
- water - 150 ml
- flour - 1 tbsp
- butter - 30 g
- garlic - 2 cloves
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp.
- seasoning with herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the fillet into cubes, mushrooms can also be cut if they are large.
2. First, fry the fillet with garlic and paprika until tender.
3. Fry the mushrooms separately in the same pan.
4. Then prepare the sauce. To do this, chop the onion and fry in butter until soft.
5. Add the tomato paste. Stir and add water immediately. Simmer for a few minutes.
6. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Add the fillet and mushrooms. Simmer over low heat, covered, until tender, about 15 minutes.
Serve with all the side dishes!
