Pancakes are a quick and tasty breakfast option that can be prepared in just 10-15 minutes. But if you're tired of the traditional ones, you should try other popular pancakes, especially since they are cooked even faster.

Pancakes with milk

Ingredients:

  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • milk - 150 ml
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • sugar - 2-4 tbsp
  • sunflower oil - 2 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch
  • nutmeg - 10 g
  • vanilla - 10 g

Method of preparation:

  1. Beat the room temperature eggs with sugar and salt until thick, stable foam.
  2. Add flour, baking powder and oil and whisk again. The batter should be liquid. Add the nutmeg.
  3. Fry the pancakes over low heat and put them on paper napkins to absorb all the oil.

You can serve them with fruit, berries, honey, or nuts.

Airy Japanese pancakes

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • wheat flour - 40 g
  • milk - 25 g
  • sugar - 40 g
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 tsp
  • honey - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Mix flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  2. Separate the whites from the yolks. Combine the yolks and milk.
  3. Add the flour in parts, mixing gently.
  4. Combine the remaining whites with the lemon juice and beat well until a stiff foam is obtained, add the sugar and continue beating for another 3 minutes.
  5. Gently add the mixture to the yolks and mix.
  6. Grease a frying pan with butter, put 2 tbsp of batter for each pancake, and as soon as they are fried, add a little water to the pan to make steam and cover them with a lid until cooked.

Serve with liquid honey or maple syrup.

Apple pancakes

Ingredients:

  • flour - 150 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • apples - 4-5 pcs
  • baking powder - 10 g
  • sugar - 50 g
  • butter - 20 g
  • cinnamon - 10 g

Method of preparation:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Beat the eggs with sugar and add to the flour.
  3. Grate the apples and add cinnamon. Add everything to the batter and mix well.
  4. Add butter to the pan and fry the pancakes over low heat for 2 minutes.

Serve with honey.
