Ingredients for 4 kg of cucumbers:
- water - 3 liters
- rock salt - 4 tbsp.
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- vinegar - 2 glasses
- Chili ketchup - 500-540 g
Additionally:
- horseradish inflorescences
- horseradish leaves, currants, cherries
- allspice
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cucumbers well. They can also be pre-soaked in cold water for 1 hour.
2. Pre-wash the jars with baking soda. Put dill, horseradish, currant, and cherry leaves on the bottom of each jar. You can also add garlic.
3. Also put 5-6 peas of allspice in the jars.
4. Put the cucumbers in the jars.
5. For the marinade, mix water with salt, ketchup, vinegar and sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
6. Pour the resulting marinade into jars.
7. Sterilize the jars with cucumbers for 20 minutes after boiling.
8. Close the jars with lids, turn them upside down, and leave them to cool completely.
