In 2024, the bob was the most popular choice for short haircuts. According to McKnight, in 2025, people will be ready to experiment even more with hairstyles.

"People will wear even shorter bobs – micro bobs that emphasize the jaw," the hairdresser said.

2. Collarbone length haircut

"2025 will be the year of style-defining haircuts. We'll see the bob grow to a mid-collar length," said Sam McKnight.

3. Choppy Cheekbone Layers

This haircut is the most popular for layering. However, if you cut all the hair to the level of the cheekbones, you can add retro-style charm to your look.

"For those who love their length, add a few sloppy layers that fall on the cheekbones and you'll bring your hairstyle to 2025," says the hairdresser.

4. Brow-Skimming Bangs

Bangs will probably never go out of style, because in 2025 they will add zest to the image. According to McKnight, it should cover the eyebrows.

"Get inspired by the bangs of 70s rock stars Debbie Harry, Stevie Nicks, and tough girl Jane Birkin, who covered their eyebrows," he explains.
