How to make tomato butter: recipe for a delicious savory snack
Tomatoes are not just an ingredient in a salad or adjika. If you add a few interesting and simple products, you can make an independent appetizer. Fragrant tomato butter is a wonderful dish that can be eaten on its own or served on bread. The taste will pleasantly surprise you.

Ingredients:
- butter at room temperature - 120 g
- olive oil - 2 tbsp
- fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- chopped garlic - 1 clove
- tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp
- sea salt and pepper - to taste
Ingredients for serving:
- toasted bread
- cherry tomatoes
- parsley/basil
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the fennel seeds in a dry frying pan and then grind in a mortar.
2. Heat olive oil and then add garlic and tomato paste.
3. Add fennel and salt and cook over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring. Cool.
4. In a bowl, mix the resulting mass with butter until smooth.
5. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate.
6. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
