How to make tasty deruny with yesterday's mashed potatoes
If you have mashed potatoes left over from yesterday, don't even think about throwing them away. It can be used to make delicious pancakes. The method of preparation is not much different from the classic ones, but they will be especially tasty if you add hard cheese and herbs to them and then bake them in the oven instead of frying.
Food expert Svitlana Levytska (lanas_diet) shared how to make delicious potato pancakes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients for 400-500 g of mashed potatoes:
- eggs - 1 pc
- flour - 3 tbsp
- grated cheese
- herbs
- salt, pepper, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the herbs and grate the cheese.
2. Mix mashed potatoes with cheese, herbs, and egg.
3. Add spices and flour. Mix until smooth.
4. Form pancakes and roll them in flour.
5. The pancakes can be fried or baked in the oven (brush with vegetable oil beforehand) at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
