How to make successful and incredibly tasty dough for sinabons: an easy recipe

Autumn is the best time of year to make cinnabons. It is at this time that they seem to taste better than usual. They also have an incredible flavor that creates a feeling of real comfort.

Food blogger Viktoriia Didus shared on Instagram how to make good dough and cinnabons. If you follow her recipe, this type of pastry will turn out just perfect.

Ingredients for the dough

  • Yeast – 1 tsp.
  • Warm milk – 150 ml
  • Sugar – ½ tsp.

Ingredients for the dough

  • Flour – 300 gr
  • Sugar – 12 pcs
  • Salt – 5 gr
  • Vanilla sugar – 7 g
  • Egg – 1 pc
  • Butter – 55 g

Ingredients for the substrate

  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • Honey – 4 gr
  • Vanilla sugar – 3 g
  • Cream – 22 ml
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Butter – 55 g

Ingredients for the filling

  • Butter – 55 grams
  • Cinnamon – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Cream – 1 tbsp

Ingredients for the glaze

  • Butter – 40 gr
  • Powdered sugar – 50 gr
  • Cream cheese – 80 g

Method of preparation

1. For the dough, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Stir and leave for 10 minutes.

2. For the dough, combine all the dry ingredients, then add the finished dough, eggs, and butter.

3. Stir with a spatula and then knead the dough by hand for 20-25 minutes. It should be smooth, even, and not stick to your hands at all.

4. Leave it warm for 1-1.5 hours to double in size.

5. For the caramel base, combine all the ingredients and spread on the bottom of the mold.

6. Combine all the ingredients for the filling. (If the filling is too dry, add a little cream.)

7. Roll out the dough into a thin rectangular layer about 4-5 mm thick. Roll it into a roll and cut it with a thread.

8. Put into a mold with a caramel lining and pour cream over each one.

9. Leave to rest for another hour in the warmth.

10. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

11. Combine all the ingredients for the glaze and grease the cinnabons with it.
