How to make delicious plum jam at home

Ingredients:

  • plums - 0.7 kg
  • sugar - 0.5 kg
  • water - 150 ml

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the plums, and prick them with a fork.
  2. Transfer to a large saucepan, cover with sugar, stir, and leave for 1 hour.
  3. Add water, put the pot on the fire, and bring to a boil.
  4. After that, cook for another 10 minutes, do this 3 times.
  5. After 3 times, transfer the jam to sterile jars and preserve.
  6. Be sure to turn the jars upside down, cover with a warm cloth, and leave to cool.
  7. Then transfer them to a dark, cool room.

2. Plum jam with mint and cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • plums - 500 g
  • sugar - 450 g
  • mint - 2 sprigs
  • cinnamon - 1 stick

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the plums, remove the pits, and chop them.
  2. Cover with sugar and leave for 2 hours.
  3. Then add the cinnamon and mint, stir, and cook until it boils, then be sure to remove them from the jam.
  4. Put the finished jam in sterile jars and preserve it.
  5. Turn them upside down and leave them until they cool completely.
