The chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for delicious and successful dumplings made from perfect choux pastry, which you can make at home in just 30 minutes, on his website.
Ingredients:
- flour - 500 g
- boiling water - 250 ml
- sunflower oil - 4 tbsp.
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Boil water. Add flour, salt and sugar.
2. Add sunflower oil and mix well.
3. Then pour in boiling water, mix and knead the dough well.
How to cook minced meat correctly
The chef noted that minced meat for dumplings can be made from any type of meat, it all depends on what you expect.
"If you want a more dietary version of dumplings, you can make minced chicken, turkey or rabbit. The fattest minced meat is made with pork," said Klopotenko.
What to add to the minced meat to make the filling juicy
"If you want the dumplings to be juicy, you should definitely add cold water or crushed ice to the minced meat. In the second case, it will be more convenient to make the dumplings because the minced meat will not spread, but if you have meat broth, it will also work. If desired, you can add onions, garlic, and herbs to the minced meat to taste," the chef explained.
