How to make pasta lasagna: a very lazy and budget option

To make classic lasagna, you need sheets of special dough. But they can be replaced with a much more budget-friendly and simple ingredient – pasta. This dish is baked much faster, and the taste is simply identical.

The idea of making lazy pasta lasagna was published on the Instagram page of blogger Ekaterina Bihun (ekaterina.bihun).

Ingredients:

  • pasta – 400 g
  • hard cheese – 300 g
  • any minced meat – 600 g
  • tomato sauce – 0.5 cans
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • ground cinnamon – 1 tbsp
  • salt, pepper – to taste

For the bechamel sauce:

  • milk – 1 liter
  • flour – 150 g
  • butter – 50 g
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • nutmeg – 1 tsp.
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation:

1. For the meat sauce, finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, then add the minced meat and simmer until tender; then add the spices (cinnamon, salt, and pepper) and tomato sauce, mix well, and simmer for another 5 minutes.

2. Boil the pasta until al dente.

3. Prepare the bechamel sauce: pour olive oil into a saucepan, add butter and flour, stir over low heat, and gradually add milk, stirring all the time, and so on until the milk runs out, add nutmeg and salt at the end, stir until the sauce thickens.

4. First, grease the baking dish with some of the sauce, then a layer of pasta, then a layer of minced meat, then sauce again, then cheese – and so on twice, sprinkle with cheese at the very end.

5. Put it in a preheated 180-degree oven for 30 minutes.
