How to make nutella at home with seven ingredients without spending too much

Homemade Nutella is made from cocoa, milk, nuts, sugar, and coconut oil in the right proportions.

Fans of the legendary chocolate and nut spread can not only buy it but also make it in their kitchen. Crunchycreamysweet.com has shared a simple recipe for this delicacy that can be made in less than 30 minutes.

For the ingredients, we need:

  • 230 grams of hazelnuts/peanuts /walnuts – whatever you like best;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1/3 cup of cocoa powder;
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil;
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 1/4 cup of chopped chocolate.

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 190-200 degrees Celsius and put the nuts in it for 12-15 minutes to roast, but make sure they don't burn.

2. Take out the nuts, leave them in the kitchen on a towel, when they cool down, wipe off the husks, if any. Then grind them in a blender.

3. Add the sugar, cocoa, oil, vanilla to the nuts and continue to blend until smooth.

4. Then add salt, chopped chocolate and mix again until creamy.

5. Put the spread in a jar and leave it in the refrigerator. Since it contains coconut oil, you need to keep the paste at room temperature for a while before eating it so that it becomes soft.

This Nutella can be stored for about a month. It contains about 400 kcal per 100 grams. You can also experiment with the spread by adding it to baked goods and other dishes.
