How to make healthy tomato juice: only natural ingredients

If you want to preserve tomatoes for the winter in a way that makes them healthy, you should use the following option and make tomato juice. It does not contain vinegar, so the product is absolutely budget-friendly and natural. In winter, this juice will be a great addition to your favorite pies, pasties, pizza, and many other dishes.

The idea of making homemade tomato juice was published on the Instagram page of nutritionist Khrystyna (dietolog_khrystyna).

What you need to make juice :

  • tomatoes - 10-11 kg
  • salt - 3 tbsp
  • cheesecloth or cloth in a fine mesh
  • a saucepan
  • blender or mill

Method of preparation:

1. Rinse the tomatoes well, clean them from damage and the lower parts.

2. It is best to choose fleshy, soft tomatoes, but all are suitable.

3. Cut into halves, quarters, put in a saucepan, grind with a grinder or blender to a puree.

4. Mash through cheesecloth, mesh or strainer.

5. Bring the juice to a boil, add salt to taste, and cook for 15 minutes.

6. Pour into jars, sterilize for 10-15 minutes, and screw on metal lids.
