How to make delicious egg and green onion pie
If you really want pies but don't want to bother with dough, there is a much simpler alternative - a pie. It can be made with a variety of fillings, but the most successful combination is green onions and eggs. It turns out to be a particularly tasty and light dish.
Food blogger Khrystyna Petrash (krosty_cookery) shared a recipe for a pie with eggs and green onions on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- 20% sour cream - 200 g
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
- flour - 90 g
The filling:
- eggs - 3 pcs
- green onions - 50-60 g
- hard cheese - 100 g
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, mix eggs with sour cream until smooth.
2. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until smooth. The dough will be like thick sour cream.
3. Pre-boil the eggs for the filling and then chop them.
4. Chop the onion.
5. Grate the cheese.
6. Mix all the ingredients for the filling.
7. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Pour half of the dough into it.
8. Add the filling.
9. Pour the rest of the dough.
10. Bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
