Ingredients:

  • beef liver - 500 g
  • carrots - 70 g
  • onion - 1/2 pc
  • bay leaves - 2 pcs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • whiskey or cognac - 2 tbsp
  • nutmeg - a pinch
  • cream - 200-250 ml
  • butter - 80 g
How to make beef liver pate: recipe with pear

Ingredients for jam:

  • pear - 2 pieces (500 g)
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 3 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Soak the liver in milk for 30 minutes. Then rinse with cold water.

2. Cooking time in the pan is 10 minutes. Add cream and cook for another 2 minutes until ready. If you cut the liver smaller, the cooking time will be reduced, but it is better to check the readiness by cutting a piece: the liver should be light inside.

3. It is advisable to choose juicy pears, peel them and cut into small cubes. Then mix with sugar and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

4. After whipping the paste in a blender, let it cool and put it in the refrigerator.

5. Serve cold with pear jam.
