Apple cider vinegar can be a great alternative to regular table vinegar. It is usually bought in a store, but during the apple season, it is worth making it at home – it is much tastier and safer because you will be sure of the organic nature and beneficial properties of such a product.
The recipe for homemade apple cider vinegar was shared by doctor_galuna_pokhmyrska on her Instagram page.
The expert noted that it should be used for dressings and sauces for dishes, as it has a positive effect on the health of the whole body.

What apples to choose for vinegar
Ingredients for 1 kilogram of apples
- apples and apple prunings
- raw honey (unheated) - 1/2 cup
- filtered water - 700-800 ml
- leftover unfiltered vinegar or vinegar mushroom (if you have it ready)
Salad with vinegar dressing
- Cut the apples with the core into large pieces.
- Mix water with honey.
- Put the apples in a jar and pour the honey water over them.
- Cover the jar with cheesecloth and put it in a cool, dark place. The next day, bubbles will begin to form.
- The fermentation process lasts 1-2 weeks. During this time, you need to turn the apples to let the gas escape.
- After gas formation stops, strain the contents of the jar – apple brew.
- Pour it into a clean jar, cover it with cheesecloth, and put it in a cool, dark place.
- Leave for 3-6 weeks.
- After 3 weeks, you can start tasting it.
