How to make a tall and fluffy charlotte with apricots: we share the recipe for the perfect dough
Charlotte is one of the most delicious, fastest and easiest pies to make. It is always based on dough and, in the classic version, apples, but you can also make the dessert with other berries and fruits.
Cook Liliia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious apricot charlotte, which turns out to be very soft and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- Eggs – 5 pcs
- Apricot, peaches – 10 pcs
- Sugar – 5 tbsp
- Flour – 4-5 tbsp
- Salt – a pinch
- Vanilla, cinnamon – to taste
- Butter – 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs with sugar, salt, vanilla and cinnamon into a thick white foam.
2. Pour the sifted flour into the finished mixture and mix with a spatula.
3. Grease a baking dish with butter and cover with parchment. Put the apricots in halves on the bottom, pour the batter on top and put the apricots on top again.
4. Put the cake in an oven preheated to 160-170 C for 45-60 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer.
Tip: Let the charlotte cool slightly, turn it over and carefully remove the parchment.
