How to make hash browns at home
If you love fast food, all kinds of hamburgers, muffins, and fries, then this recipe is definitely for you and it may become your favorite. But even for those who don't like such "healthy" food, it will be an interesting experiment to cook something new.
Hector Jimenez-Bravo, a chef and judge of the MasterChef show, shared a recipe for a delicious potato hash brown on Instagram, which is very easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 4 pcs.
- cheese – 4 slices
- salt – 3 tsp
- corn starch – 6 tbsp.
- olive oil – 2-3 tbsp.
- salt, pepper, dry garlic – to taste
Method of preparation:
- Rinse the potatoes well, peel and cut them into very small cubes, and rinse them well again so that they "give" all the harmful starch.
- Pour oil into a hot frying pan, put the potatoes, season well with salt and pepper, add dry garlic, and fry until they become crispy.
- Once they are well fried, put them in a large bowl, add the cornstarch, and mix well.
- Put the potato dough on the parchment, roll it out, and cut it into equal pieces. You can put cheese on top.
- Put it in a frying pan and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
You can season with herbs or your favorite sauce, and it will also be delicious with salmon.
