In order not to throw the rest of the avocado away or use the whole one when you do not need it at all, you should know a useful lifehack. Thanks to it, avocado will be stored in your refrigerator as long as you need, writes Mirror.

This simple life hack will create a barrier between the pulp and air, slowing down blackening. Soaking the cut side of the avocado in olive oil acts as a sealant, reducing the influence of oxygen and therefore its ability to spoil your appetizer. After that, the avocado should be wrapped tightly in food wrap, placed in a container and then in the refrigerator. In this way, the avocado will retain its freshness for a week.
