Ingredients:
- plums - 2 kg.
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- salt - 1 tbsp
- Italian herbs - 2 tbsp.
- garlic - 3 cloves
- vegetable oil (any) - 200 ml.
- basil to taste

1. Pit the plums and cut them into halves.
2. Place the plums, flesh side up, close together on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

3. Sprinkle the plums with salt, sugar and Italian herbs.
4. Send the plums to dry in the oven on the upper gentle heat plus convection setting at 70 degrees.

5. The oven door should be slightly ajar to prevent condensation from building up inside. The drying time is approximately 5 hours (depending on the type of plum).
6. Put the dried plums and sliced garlic in a jar.

7. Pour warm oil with Italian herbs, put basil on top.
8. After cooling, put the jar of dried plums in the refrigerator.

9 It is very important not to heat the oil to a boil, otherwise the plums will simply boil in the boiling oil.
