How to cook soft and juicy homemade cabbage rolls: tips and recipe
Stuffed cabbage is a very satisfying, tasty, and easy-to-prepare dish based on cabbage and minced meat. They can also be cooked without rice, replacing it with light cereals and meat with vegetables.

Tip: boil the rice for the filling until it is ready! To make the cabbage rolls juicy and soft, simmer them covered with leaves, then remove them and simmer further without!
Ingredients:
- minced pork - 400 g
- rice - 200 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Sauce:
- broth or water - 1 cup
- tomato paste - 200 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Make minced meat from the meat.
2. Boil the rice and let it cool.
3. Finely chop the onion.
4. Mix all the products for the filling, add salt and pepper to taste, mix.
6. Put the whole cabbage in a large saucepan, cover with boiling water and boil for 5 minutes, cut out the head of cabbage and carefully disassemble into leaves. Cut off the thick part of each leaf.
7. Put the filling in a baking sheet, roll it up well and place the cabbage rolls in a baking dish. Then pour the broth over them, cover with the remaining cabbage leaves and put in a hot oven or cook on the stove over medium heat for 30 minutes.
8. After 30 minutes, remove the leaves from the top and pour the tomato paste over the cabbage rolls. Cover again and cook for another 20 minutes.
