Semolina cake is an unusually delicious yet simple pastry. Most of all, it is loved for the fact that the cake is made with available ingredients, as well as for its taste as the dessert is moderately moist and soft. To achieve this result, it should be prepared with kefir and soaked in milk.

Ingredients:

  • kefir - 200 ml
  • sugar - 150 g
  • semolina - 1 cup
  • flour - 1 cup.

  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • butter - 50 g
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • milk for soaking - 300 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Add eggs and sugar to kefir. Stir well.

2. Add semolina. Mix well.

3. Mix flour and baking soda. Add to the semolina mass. Mix again.

4. Add soft butter. Stir until smooth.

5. Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour the batter into it.

6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

7. Pour cold milk over the hot cake and let it soak.
