How to cook salmon for potatoes: better than meat

Salmon is a very nutritious and healthy fish that can be served at any meal. It will be much healthier to use such meat for potatoes or buckwheat instead of classic fatty cutlets or chops.

The idea of cooking salmon with mustard in honey sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Movchan. For cooking, you need only four ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • salmon fillet - 400 g
  • hot mustard - 1 tsp.
  • teriyaki sauce - 1 tsp.
  • honey - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the salmon fillet and remove the bones.

2. For the marinade, combine mustard, teriyaki sauce and honey.

3. Brush the salmon with the marinade and let stand for 15 minutes.

4. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees (up and down with convection).

5. Wrap the fish in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.

6. While the salmon is marinating and baking, prepare tender, creamy mashed potatoes for a side dish.
