How to cook pumpkin deliciously for children: a variant of healthy porridge

Pumpkin is one of these healthy foods. But if your child refuses to eat dishes with pumpkin, you can make sweet porridge with an apple in it. It turns out to be a really delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

  • millet or rice - 40 g
  • grated pumpkin - 60-80 g
  • grated apple - 0.5 pcs.
  • water - 250 ml
  • butter - a little bit
  • cinnamon, milk - optional

Method of preparation:

1. Pour hot water over the millet so that it does not become bitter in the porridge for 3-4 minutes.

2. Grate the pumpkin and apple.

3. Pour 250 ml of water into a saucepan.

4. Add the millet and pumpkin.

5. Let it boil, stirring constantly, add the apple and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly.

6. Add butter, stir, turn off and cover.
