How to cook potatoes with chicken thighs in a baking sleeve
In addition to the usual mashed potatoes and rustic-style ones, there are other ways to prepare potatoes in a delicious way. For example, they can be cooked in a baking sleeve along with chicken thighs. It turns out to be a rather satisfying and delicious dish that will also find its place on the holiday table.
Food blogger Yulia Mikulich shared a recipe for potatoes with chicken thighs in a baking sleeve on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
Marinade for chicken:
- chicken thighs - 1 kg
- garlic - 4-5 cloves
- soy sauce - 3 tbsp
- oil - 3 tbsp
- paprika - 1 tbsp
- red hot pepper, salt, black pepper and other favorite spices
Marinade for potatoes:
- potatoes - 900 g
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- sour cream/kefir - 3 tbsp
- garlic - 2 cloves
- salt, black pepper, favorite spices
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and dry the chicken thighs with paper towels. Put in a deep container.
2. Add all the ingredients for the marinade to the meat (pass the garlic through a press) and mix thoroughly so that each thigh is covered with the marinade. Cover the container with foil and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes/slices.
4. Add all the ingredients for the marinade to the potatoes (pass the garlic through a press). Mix everything thoroughly.
5. Put the thighs in a baking sleeve.
6. Add potatoes. Tie the sleeve.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for about 50-60 minutes. Then take out the sleeve, cut and bake the dish at 200 degrees for another 15-20 minutes.
8. Leave for a while.
