A food blogger with the nickname ho_iveria told us how to cook liver properly on Instagram. By following her recipe, the product will never be bitter, and there will be no unpleasant odor, which is why many housewives refuse to cook liver.

Ingredients

  • chicken or rabbit liver - 500 g
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • red onion - 2 pcs
  • butter - 20 g
  • olive oil - 10 ml
  • green onions - 2 pcs
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt
  • pepper

Method of preparation

1. Soak the liver in water for 20 minutes.

2. Wash, peel and put the liver on a paper towel.

3. Peel and chop the carrots, garlic and onion

4. Add oil, salt and spices. Stir and leave for 20 minutes.

5. Put the liver in a baking dish in a single layer. You can hide the vegetables under the liver to prevent them from burning.

6. Put pieces of butter on top of the liver.

7. Bake at 180 degrees for 12 minutes.

8. Turn the pieces over (you don't have to hide the vegetables anymore, let them bake) and return the dish to the oven for another 10 minutes.

9. Take it out and leave for 5-10 minutes.
