Shakshuka is a popular egg dish. It is prepared mainly for breakfast. The peculiarity of this culinary masterpiece is that it is not just fried eggs, but a full-fledged hearty dish with a lot of juicy seasonal vegetables. It's also very budget-friendly.

Ingredients:

  • onion - 1 pc.
  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.
  • large ripe tomato - 1 pc.
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • frying oil, salt, pepper, sugar
  • parsley

Method of preparation:

1. In a heated pan, add finely chopped onion and fry until transparent.

2. Add the chopped sweet peppers and fry until soft.

3. Then add the diced tomato and cook until it is simmered until sauteed.

4. Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste.

5. Make small indentations in the sauce and carefully beat the eggs into them. Salt only the whites.

6. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the egg whites are fully cooked.

7. Greens can be added while cooking eggs or before serving.
