You can cook buckwheat deliciously in a frying pan. Chicken legs or thighs are perfect for this cereal. You don't have to cook the side dish and meat separately, so you'll be done with the dish very quickly
An unusual buckwheat recipe was shared by food blogger Yuliia with the nickname yuliia masiuk on Instagram. The porridge is very juicy.
Ingredients:
- chicken legs or thighs
- salt, pepper
- onion - 1-2 pieces (to your taste)
- carrot - 1 pc.
- sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- buckwheat - 1 cup
- broth or water - 3 cups
- dill
- garlic - 1 pc.
- bay leaves
Method of preparation:
1. Season chicken legs with salt and pepper.
2. Fry until golden brown on all sides and set aside.
3. Cut the onion into half rings, dice the carrots.
4. Fry in the same pan for a few minutes.
5. Dice the pepper and add to the pan. Fry.
6. Add buckwheat to the vegetables, stir and fry for a minute.
7. Add broth or water, spices, chicken legs. Then dip the garlic in it.
8. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes until tender.
9. Add chopped fresh greens at the end.
