At first glance, it may seem that there is nothing complicated about cooking pasta. Just throw them into boiling salted water and cook for the amount of time indicated on the package, and you will get an almost ready main course.

However, there are certain nuances that most of us do not take into account during this process. For example, the Mirror recently found out exactly how much water should be poured into a pot to cook pasta to make it perfect.

As it turns out, the more pasta you cook, the more boiling water you need. The Italian food experts at Eataly recommend adding 2 liters of water to the pot for every 450 grams of pasta you want to cook.

This way, the pasta should float freely in the pot of water, not be close together. This way, they will never stick together and cook evenly.

Experts also said that you should never pour olive oil over pasta immediately after you have drained the water. Moreover, it should not be added to the pot during cooking. In this case, the pasta will be slippery on the outside and the sauce will never lie on them evenly.
