People have learned to make homemade honey cake in different ways: in the backyard, without rolling out the cakes, and with different creams. But it's hard to disagree that the classic recipe based on delicate honey cakes and sour cream is one of the most successful.

Ingredients:
Cakes:
- eggs - 3 pcs
- sugar - 300 g
- butter - 50 g
- honey - 100 g
- soda (slaked with vinegar) - 1 tbsp
- flour - 400 g
Cream:
- sour cream 20% 1 kg
- sugar 150 g
- butter 125 g
- vanilla
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the cream. To do this, mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar. Cook in a water bath for 40 minutes. (It is best to put the sour cream on cheesecloth to drain off excess whey).
2. Then add the butter to the sour cream, mix and refrigerate overnight.
3. To make the cakes, gradually mix all the ingredients until smooth and put in a water bath. Cook for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Divide the finished dough into 8 equal parts. Grease your hands and each part with oil and stretch the dough on the parchment in a circle.
5. Bake the cakes at 180 degrees for several minutes. Cool them and only then remove the parchment and cut the sides.
6. Spread the cakes with cream and decorate as desired. Leave in the refrigerator to set.
