Honey cake in a pan: how to quickly prepare a delicious, flavorful dessert
The perfect dessert for a festive table and tea party is Honey cake, which is based on honey cakes and delicate cream. In the classic version, the cakes are baked in the oven, but if you want to make this cake quickly, make a lighter dough that can be baked in a frying pan.
Cook Halyna shared on Instagram a recipe for a quick Honey cake that you can easily make in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- Honey - 220 g
- Soda - 1 tsp.
- Butter - 100 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Flour - 500 g
- Salt - a pinch
For the cream:
- Sour cream - 500 g
- Sugar - to taste
- Nuts - 100 g
Impregnation:
- Milk - 170 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the honey and baking soda over low heat, stirring constantly until brown, turn off and add the butter, mix, cool the mixture a little, add the eggs, mix again. Pour in the flour and knead the dough, put it in a bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. Then cut into 8-10 pieces, roll out thinly on parchment, transfer to a frying pan, cook for 2 minutes on a hot frying pan. Remove the parchment, cover and bake until cooked on both sides.
3. Cream: whip the sour cream and sugar.
4. Assemble the cake: pour 3 tablespoons of milk on each cake, wait 30-40 seconds until the milk is absorbed, then pour 2 tablespoons and the 3rd. After that, put 3 tablespoons of cream on the cake, smooth it well, and top it with another cake-milk-cream.
Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours.
