Homemade puff pastry bagels: delicious pastries for tea
Puff pastries are the perfect addition to tea or coffee for breakfast. They look very similar to croissants, but they are much easier and faster to prepare. It is the homemade puff pastry that makes the products extremely porous and with a pleasant buttery flavor. And you can serve them with anything: chocolate, condensed milk, jam.

Ingredients:
- flour – 320 g
- milk – 145 g
- dry yeast – 6 g
- eggs – 1 pc
- sugar – 30 g
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- butter – 20 g
For the additional ingredients:
- butter – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk.
2. Add sugar, salt, egg, melted butter. Mix well.
3. Add the sifted flour. Knead the elastic dough.
4. Divide the dough into 8 balls, cover with plastic wrap, and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
5. Roll out each piece into a round layer 20 cm in diameter. Then grease each cake with butter, stacking on top of each other, except for the surface of the last one, wrap the cakes in plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for 40 minutes.
6. Roll out the dough into a layer, and divide it into 8 parts in the shape of a triangle. Form into bagels. Cover and leave for 20-25 minutes.
7. Before baking, brush the bagels with a beaten egg.
8. Bake at 170 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
