Homemade nuts with condensed milk: how to make crispy dough

Nuts with condensed milk is a taste that comes from childhood. Nowadays, this iconic dessert can be purchased in various bakeries and confectioneries. But the best option is to make these nuts at home. The dough cooks extremely quickly and turns out to be crispy and flavorful.

The idea of making homemade nuts with condensed milk was published on the food blogger's Instagram page (anny.cooking). The most important thing in making the dough is to grind the butter well into crumbs.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 500 g
  • butter/margarine/spread - 250 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet (8 g)
  • salt - a pinch
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • boiled condensed milk - 1 can

Method of preparation:

1. Add salt and sugar to the sifted flour.

2. Mix well.

3. Add cold butter.

4. Grind into crumbs.

5. Add the eggs.

6. Knead a thick dough.

7. Cover with a bag and leave for 10 minutes.

8. One half of a nut is a ball the size of a cherry.

9. Put into a waffle iron or any other mold.

10. Cool after baking.

11. Trim the edges.

12. Fill each half with condensed milk.

13. Form the nuts.

14. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
