Homemade herb butter: perfect for spring sandwiches
Herb butter is a product that will not leave anyone indifferent due to its unique taste and aroma. Recently, it has been gaining popularity in our country. In Germany, however, no family can do without this butter and it is used with almost all dishes. It tastes perfect with steaks, baguette, and pasta.
Food blogger Yulia Senych told us how to make herb butter, which will taste perfect with sandwiches in spring. On Instagram, she explained which herbs are best suited for making such butter.
Ingredients
- butter - 250 gr
- dill
- sorrel
- green onions
- wild garlic
How to cook
1. Take butter out of the refrigerator and wait until it becomes soft.
2. Finely chop greens.
3. Combine butter and herbs and mix well.
4. Add salt and pepper. You can add other favorite spices if you like.
5. Put the butter in the mold and cover with cling film. You can also put it in a bag.
6. Store in the freezer. If you plan to use the butter within the next 2-3 days, you can store it in the refrigerator.
