Homemade crispy kifli according to grandma's recipe: cook for 20 minutes
Kifli can be a great alternative to homemade pies and cookies. You can make them with different fillings, but the most important thing is to make a good dough, which will determine the taste and structure of the pastry.
Chef Tatiana shared a recipe for delicious and successful kifli on Instagram, which turn out to be very crispy.
Ingredients:
- sour cream - 200 g
- vodka - 1 tbsp
- salt - a pinch
- flour - 300 g
- powdered sugar
- filling - any jam
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour onto a work surface. Add a pinch of salt.
2. Rub the cold butter directly into the flour and mix.
3. Add sour cream and vodka and knead the dough. Cut the dough into six pieces.
4. Roll each part into a ball, put in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
5. Then roll out each ball, sprinkling with flour, into a thin round layer, cut into 8 equal segments. Put the filling on the edge of each one and roll it up.
6. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 200 C for 20 minutes.
7. Put the hot kifli in a bowl and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
