Hearty zucchini stew: one simple ingredient to add

Stew is an ideal dish for the summer because there is a wide variety of fresh vegetables. But often this dish turns out to be quite watery. To prevent this from happening, add regular processed cheese during cooking.

The idea of cooking zucchini stew with melted cheese was published on Dariia Vitovska's (vistovska_daria) Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • zucchini – 1 pc
  • pepper – 2 pcs
  • tomatoes – 2 pcs
  • onion – 1 pc
  • garlic – 3 cloves
  • greens
  • processed cheese – 1 pc
  • sour cream – 1-2 tbsp
  • salt, and pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the onions, add finely chopped peppers and tomatoes.

2. Cut the zucchini into small cubes and add to the vegetables to stew.

3. Salt and pepper – to taste.

4. When the vegetables are almost ready, add the processed cheese grated on a fine grater.

5. When the cheese is melted, add sour cream and finely chopped garlic.

6. Simmer for another 5 minutes, sprinkle with herbs.
