Zucchini can be used to make a hearty and budget-friendly lunch. This vegetable can be used to make an elementary roll, the base for which you just need to bake in the oven. For the filling, combine melted cheese, garlic, and tomatoes.

Ingredients for zucchini cake:

  • zucchini - 3 pcs. (800 g) + salt 1 tsp.
  • flour - 5-6 tbsp.
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp (with a big slide)

Ingredients for the filling:

  • processed cheeses - 200 g (3 pcs.) or suluguni cheese - 180 g
  • mayonnaise - to taste
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.
  • dill - a small bunch

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater.

2. Add salt, stir and set aside for 15 minutes to drain the excess liquid.

3. Drain the zucchini, add eggs, flour, sour cream, salt and mix well.

4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

5. Brush the parchment with a little oil and spread a thin layer of zucchini dough evenly and put it in the oven until cooked.

6. When the base is ready, it will become colored.

7. Cool the finished cake to room temperature.

8. Grate processed cheeses or suluguni cheese and add grated garlic, mayonnaise or mayonnaise half with sour cream, dill and mix well.

9. Put a thin layer of the filling on the crust, tomatoes and wrap very tightly.

10. Then wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for at least 1.5-3 hours.
